Meet Savannah
Because life? Well, it goes real fast. And without these reminders of the moments we felt like the happiest, truest versions of ourselves, it’s easy to forget. That’s why I first picked up a camera, so I could have proof of the joy, the love, and the laughter. And it’s why I continue to pick up my camera for couples, seniors, and families.
Because this version of you—right here, right now—is worth remembering.
Photography was never meant to be about perfection, but about documenting the real, unfiltered, messy moments.
I’m a Midwest photographer, certified mountain girly, and collector of memories and mementos.
I live in Central Nebraska, but I take any excuse to disappear into the Rocky Mountains. I love my dogs more than almost anything else. And I am seriously grateful that I get to do what I love every day.
I first picked up a camera in high school. I’ve always been drawn towards the nostalgia of knowing every moment will one day be a memory. To keep myself present, I started documenting everything I could. My friends. My family. My dogs (of course).
What started as a personal practice turned into a lifestyle, and then a career. Now, I get to capture the somedays that matter most, so you can have tactile reminders of your best days so far.
Hey, I’m Sav!
xoxo,
Weston & Celie
I appreciate all the behind the scenes and little moments you were able to capture for us to look back on! You made us (especially Weston) feel so comfortable in front of the camera and were able to capture us in some of our happiest moments! You were so easy to work with and made sure that our photos were the style and moments that we wanted captured.
A Grounding Presence on the Most Important Day of Your Life
Because I firmly believe that your photos are secondary to your experience. I will not be shoving my camera in your face at every possible moment. I’m a wedding photographer, not the paparazzi. I want you to enjoy your day, hang out with your guests, and actually eat your dinner.
I follow the energy of your day, listen to what you’re feeling, and create an environment where photos feel natural and easy. I’m an expert at posing you naturally and gracefully and knowing when to let the moment unfold organically.
Ultimately, your wedding day is about you. As long as you are present and having the time of your life, I promise your photos will be everything you’ve wanted and more.
Your wedding day comes with a flood of emotions. You’re excited, nervous, and hungry—while unable to even think about eating. It’s okay to feel a little unsteady! I will be by your side the whole time, reassuring you, checking in, and reading the room so I can capture your day as intentionally and unobtrusively as possible.
Because life? Well, it goes real fast. And without these reminders of the moments we felt like the happiest, truest versions of ourselves, it’s easy to forget.
